Senior Project Manager for Public Sector Organisation, Full Time, 2 - 3 Year Contract

You will be working as a Senior Project Manager for a large Public Sector organisation located in the heart of Bath.
Your new role
This is a client side senior project management role where you will be responsible for overseeing two major construction projects valuing over £70m each. As a Project Manager you will be working on a full time basis 37.5 hours per week, on an ongoing temporary contract. You will need to ensure that these high profile projects are delivered on time, to budget and to quality. You will be successfully managing internal and external teams including construction consultants and contractors through attending client meetings, projects meetings both internal and on site and dealing with associated tasks and issues. You will be project managing many aspects of construction delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Senior Project Manager ideally MRICS, with extensive construction experience of overseeing high value design and build projects throughout the entire life cycle from inception to delivery. This is a client side role but a balance of experience on both sides is a must. You will need to demonstrate aptitude at the pre-construction phase, feasibility reports, financial modelling, overseeing the design process, navigating planning, tendering packages as well as having a strong history of project delivery. You will need experience in managing consultancy teams and contractors. You will need to have good understanding of M&E as well as being proficient in reading drawings and specification.
