Loughborough University is seeking to make the appointment of up to two Project Managers to play a key role in the delivery of the University’s capital investment programme.
Loughborough University is consistently placed highly in the guides and league tables on UK Universities. This is in recognition of its strength as a research-intensive university which also provides an exceptional student experience. The University has in excess of 17,000 students, over 3,200 staff and its main base is a superb 440 acre single-site campus, offering great facilities for every aspect of student life, with plenty of open space, gardens and sports areas, interspersed with academic buildings and student accommodation.
The University is planning a £170m capital investment programme over the next 4 years on campus along with ambitious plans for the development of Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP). It is therefore seeking to make the appointment of Project Managers to be responsible for the management and development of new build and refurbishment projects.
Successful candidates will have gained recent experience of managing refurbishment and new build projects in a client side or client’s consultant role. Strong technical skills (including experience of design management and contract administration) are essential as it is expected that candidates will be adept at managing all stages of the project lifecycle from design through to procurement and construction delivery.
In return, Loughborough University offers a competitive salary, generous leave and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training whilst being part of a dedicated support team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage your own portfolio of diverse and interesting property whilst working within a beautiful campus environment. As well as being an excellent place to study, it is also a great place to work.
