Project Controls Manager/Cost Planner (Construction) - Caribbean - £120,000 net + package


Our client is a leading Caribbean developer, with a long history of successful projects. They are at the beginning of a 15 year multi billion dollar mixed use development plan. You will be joining an established team, in a role offering long term security. This is an enviable lifestyle location.
You will:
* Oversee the Site Level Change Management systems, processes and filing * Provide "Open Event" Status reports * Initiate Change Order Requests, Notices to Proceed, and Amendments * Maintain and enforce the time and material procedures * Manage Project Accounting Functions and Financial Reporting * Work with Centralised Estimating Department * Manage budget estimates, cost plans / forecasts * Ensure contractor performance is monitored and periodically audited * Ability to read and understand the prime contract and subcontracts. * Develop detailed knowledge of Contract Documents and project cost control / reports. * Participate when required in procurement / buyout, contracting strategy and RFP/Bid processes. * Fully implement standard document control policies and procedures. * Have full knowledge of safety policies and procedures * Be familiar with Field Construction Operations
You will have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Construction, with a minimum of 5 Years' experience in cost planning/project control. * Proven expertise working with project management and planning packages (ideally Timberline Project Management and Job Cost Applications). * Strong professional experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word. * Experience working with contracts, procurement, contract review and RFP/Bid processes. * A background in management of site based cost and scheduling. * Team management experience and exposure to working with multiple projects and contractors, managing their performance * Expertise doing weekly, monthly and annual reporting on various construction site metrics and financials.
