Support Worker needed in Bristol for a temporary contract providing support on Mental Health and Homelessness
Your new company
You will be joining an established supported housing organisation who focuses on supporting vulnerable people who have backgrounds in mental health, domestic abuse and homelessness.
Your new role
As a support worker you will be working on a temporary, 30 hour contract on an ongoing contract with a possible extension depending on how you get on with the role. You will be providing a floating support service around the Bristol area providing engagement and move on programmes for service users who have gone through or are currently still suffering from mental health. As a support worker you will be providing advice and support to service users, aiding them to engage with their local community and providing support plans to reach their goals. You will also be required to sign post and advise when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this support worker role relevant working experience within the same role or similar is essential. You must have access to a car as this is a floating support role. Furthermore as you are working with vulnerable people you must have a DBS or provide documents for us to produce a DBS on your behalf.
