Your new company

You will be working for a established supported housing provider who focuses on vulnerable service users, promoting independence and making a difference to the community. This is a fantastic organisation who puts their tenants at the fore-front of the service.

Your new role

As a housing manager you will be working part time time across 3 days per week (flexible working available). As a housing manager you will be working with service users who have a background in mental health and will be the organisations management lead for the community based Recovery Bristol Partnership, work collaboratively and in partnership with with other agencies to deliver recovery and wellbeing opportunities for people with mental health needs. As a housing manager you will provide inspirational and motivational leadership and management to maximise staff engagement and commitment to organisational and partnership goals as well as champion recovery orientated and psychologically informed practice. As a housing manager you will engage service users and ensure the services are accessible to potential service users and work in strength based and solution focused way with service users. As a housing manager you will contribute to the management, promotion and development of relevant policies and procedures and quality assurance systems that support the delivery of services under your remit and embed continuous improvement within the organisations performance and development.

What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful housing manager you must have strong knowledge of mental health practices and be able to manage a team successfully. Furthermore, you must have proven knowledge of support needs of people with mental health needs as well as proven knowledge and understanding of the impact of working with mental health and complex needs on individuals and teams and the need for support, supervision and reflective practice. As you are working with vulnerable service users you must have a DBS or provide documents for a DBS to be processed on your behalf.
