Your new company is a private consultancy based in Cardiff who have a national presence and are growing and expanding due to repeat business, winning new frameworks and successful project completion. They are an award winning organisation who specialise in cost consultancy services in a variety of sectors including leisure, utilities, civils, commercial and more.
Your new role
You will be working as an Assistant Cost manager reporting into a Chartered Senior Cost Manager who will help mentor you towards completing your APC exams. Duties include forecast reporting, budget management, business cases, procurement or programme management and working on projects in the civils/rails sector.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying (RICS Accredited) and have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience. Experience of working on rail projects and using NEC contracts is desirable but not essential. You will need the desire to progress towards your chartership and motivated to complete your APC with some exciting project work.
