Leeds Beckett University continues to be one of the UK’s largest universities, in one of the UK’s more popular student cities. We are proud of our award winning estate and two impressive campuses, one in Leeds city centre and the other in Beckett Park, Headingley.
The Estates Services department are seeking to make the key appointment of a Project Manager to play an important role in the delivery of the University’s major capital programme, with investment estimated at c. £200m during the next 5 years. The Project Manager will deliver a diverse range of capital and improvement projects. You will lead a project team of internal and external professionals and will act as the University’s lead from the inception and development of projects through to delivery and completion.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project leadership roles with responsibility for planning and managing estate development projects in environments with comparable characteristics to those found at the University. With a strong technical background in construction and property, you will be experienced in leading the design, development, procurement and delivery phases of projects of a complex and technically challenging nature.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will work with a diverse range of stakeholders both within and outside of the University.
