The Estates Services department are seeking to make the key appointment of a Commercial Manager to manage and provide strategic cost and commercial assurance on multi-project campus developments at Leeds Beckett, analysing and highlighting conflicting cost, risk and procurement issues. The role will provide comprehensive quantity surveying services and contractual documentation, and assist in the development of new project management processes and procedures.
The successful candidate will have proven cost and commercial management experience gained in the construction and property industry, with a relevant qualification in a commercial management, quantity surveying or finance discipline. Experience of working in a similar role in the commercial, healthcare, science or education sectors would be advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will work with a diverse range of stakeholders both within and outside of the University, to solve commercial, contractual and procurement problems and mitigate risk.
