The Estates Services department are seeking to make the key appointment of a Building Surveyor to manage the design and delivery of capital improvement and remedial works, across the University’s major capital programme. You will play an active role in the identification, and evaluation of projects in future programmes, and assisting in the development of design standards, systems and processes.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing building maintenance and development projects, and the supervision and management of maintenance teams and contractors. You will also be wholly adept at carrying out surveys and producing reports and recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will work with a diverse range of stakeholders both within and outside of the University.
