Dorset based Consultancy seeking an IES Modeller and Energy consultant due to expansion of their business.
Your new company
A highly successful, international firm of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) consulting engineers. They're client-focused and design-led service is underpinned by their commitment to excellence and their passion for innovative sustainable design. Projects are country wide as well as some international.
As the largest firm of MEP consulting engineers in the UK they have experience across all major market sectors bringing over 150 years of design experience to every project and have worked on many of the most prominent developments in the industry during this time.
The office is over 3 floors and has over 50 staff based here. The company value their staff, and this is reflected in the working environment in which you will work. On the top floor in the Staff room there is a pool table, games console and TV with comfy sofa's for you to enjoy. There are also shower facilities provided. Staff parking is free. The company often hold sociable events for both staff and families.
Your new role
The successful candidate will model domestic and non-domestic buildings to show compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations. They will produce energy strategies and coordinate with other members of the design team to ensure that the strategy can be met, and produce reports with their findings.
They will carry out other pieces of modelling work to meet the requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM (but do not need to be qualified in either).
What you'll need to succeed
- Good working knowledge and experience of IES (essential).
- Good working knowledge and experience using SAP software (ideal).
- Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L (essential)
- Solid report writing skills
- Knowledge of BREEAM / CSH (preferable).

Salary up to £35,000 plus the following benefits;
