Permanent Facilities Assistant role in Manchester. £17,300 to £18,500. Start asap. Excellent progression.

You will work in the facilities department for a large Legal firm in Manchester.

Your new role

As a Facilities Assistant, you will be involved in a host of various duties in a number of key areas, this will include dealing with postal services - opening, sorting, franking and scanning post. You will also handle stationary ordering, managing stock levels. You will conduct regular Health and Safety assessments, and will carry out "Permit to Work" assessments with all contractors and engineers on site.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need previous experience in a similar or identical role to be successful in this position and will have excellent organisational and prioritisation skill. You must have good data entry speed and accuracy, and will be experienced across a range of Microsoft Office programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are absolutely essential as you will be in constant liaison with colleagues at all levels.
