You will joining an established organisation in South Wales, providing vulnerable people with housing advice. This is a great organisation who supports and encourages their tenants towards independent living.
Your new role
As a tenant engagement co-ordinator you will be working on a full time (35 hours) or part time (17.5 hours) basis, Monday - Friday on a 6 week temporary basis. Within this role you will be provide administrative and frontline support within the Housing & Communities, dealing with internal and external customers and partners in a sensitive and professional manner. As a tenant engagement co-ordinator you will be first point of call for tenancy queries, you will provide an effective and responsive customer focused service for all contacts within the Housing & Communities Team, this can be via telephone, person or e-mail. Where possible you will be resolving queries and providing relevant information at the first point of contact to ensure delivery of the Housing and Communities Policies and provide the best possible outcome for the customer.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this role you will need experience working in social housing understanding basic tenant needs in regards to rent, housing management and tenancies. To be successful you will need experience of rent arrears and budget management as well as the ability to develop effective working partnerships. You will also need to have experience in working within environments supporting vulnerable people, being able to communicate in an effective manner.
