Amey are involved in not only the construction but also maintaining of buildings, this allows them to work with a number of different companies with a wide variety of customers and clients.
Your new role
Your new role will be to coordinate on-boarding of newly qualified engineers after they leave the training collages, as well as skilled engineers' supplied by sub-contractors. The role will require coordination with other departments including but not limited to operations, compliance as well as HR.
The main duties of the job will be:
Communication with training engineers in collages or being mentored
Collection and validation of data
Control and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports
Production of excel spreadsheets at a high level
Ordering of equipment's, chasing suppliers and working closing with fleet and stores
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you must be able to communicate effectively with operational and senior management on a daily basis. You must also have the ability to multi task as this will be a high pressure environment with deadlines to meet. You must also be a team player as you will be working within a variety of teams to reach an end goal.
