Operations programme management that’s making history
Founded in 1753, our remarkable collection spans over two million years of human history with countless iconic collections from around the world – from the Rosetta Stone to Egyptian mummies. With six million visitors a year, we’re always looking to create ever-greater memorable experiences.
As our Head of Operations Programme Management you’ll get to manage a broad range of capital projects, including the refurbishment of public galleries, grade 1 listed architecture, security and fire safety systems, and plant and equipment replacement.
Using your exceptional leadership, influencing and negotiating skills you’ll take responsibility for ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget and to your most exacting standards – by managing financial and staff resources to best effect and clearly communicating critical paths and key milestones for each project. You’ll also deliver presentations on the operations project programme to members of senior management and Trustees, as well as recruiting and deploying internal staff and external suppliers as needed.
As an experienced and confident Programme Manager this will not faze you at all. You’ve got substantial experience of complex programme management that you can draw from and are used to getting the best from the teams that surround you. Degree qualified, you’ll also have relevant professional qualifications that are complemented by your approach that is not only innovative, but also delivery focussed and highly organised.
