Job: Maintenance Manager, Blackpool Coastal Housing

We have an exciting opportunity for a lead role within our Property Services Directorate heading up the Operations Team.

The role is responsible for developing the strategic direction of the repairs and maintenance service ensuring a high quality and cost effective service delivery. The role will be to lead and develop the team, increase productivity and performance whilst demonstrating value for money. The postholder will maximise the scope to automate administrative processes, generate new business opportunities and build upon customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a competent individual who can demonstrate strategic thinking, inspirational leadership and effective people management skills. Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of health and safety and experience within a similar service delivery environment. Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will have to demonstrate excellent ICT skills, the ability to manage a multi-million pound budget and the experience of analysing management information.
