Due to the continued success of the London office, Rider Levett Bucknall is seeking a professional Senior Project Manager to deliver whole life project management services to the affordable housing and other key sectors.
The role will involve:
Providing project management, employers agent and contract administration services to a range of public sector clients with a clear focus towards affordable housing and decent homes projects. Typical project sizes range from £5 - £50m and will include new build, refurbishment and stock conditioning.
To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:
Essential
- Degree qualified in Project Management or a similar technical discipline with a post graduate or professional qualification in PM delivery (e.g. PRINCE2 or MAPM).
- A minimum of 8 years technical delivery experience with a minimum of five years as a project manager leading teams and delivering property and construction related projects.
- Project lead experience of Decent Homes, Sustainability and other residential focused public sectors.
- Track record of success in preparing and delivering bids for client led projects within the public sector via OJEU.
- Understanding and experience of engaging communities and residents in the delivery of projects.
- Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client with a detailed understanding of the development process and funding arrangements of public sector affordable housing projects.
- Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships.
- Programming skills with particular experience in IT led project planning tools (e.g. MS Project).
- Team player, outgoing and flexible.
Highly Desirable
- MRICS or professionally qualified in another construction related subject (or qualified by experience).
- Experience of working with and leading consortiums.
- Managing decent homes and social housing framework service streams.
- Previously built a team around a growing workload and client base.
