Bouygues UK is strong portfolio of public infrastructure projects in the UK including BSF schemes in the South East of England. We are seeking to augment our construction management teams to oversee numerous education projects in the London area, including both new-build and refurbishment projects. As a Senior M & E Manager you will have at least 10 years experience of working in a main contractor/project management background and have an excellent grasp of the full M & E lifecycle, form design through procurement to installation. You will oversee a team of M & E Engineers ensuring the efficient management of design, budgets and site works.

You duties will include;

  • Preparation of the Objectives for M & E Services on Education projects.
  • Cost/Budget management and Subcontractor selection.
  • Overall Management of M & E design consultants and of M & E installation stages.
  • Liaising with the Clients M & E representatives.
  • Chairing of M & E Design Meetings and M & E subcontractor meetings.
  • Attendance at Design coordination and Design Management meetings.
  • Gaining global approval of all M & E Documents submitted and overall programme management.
  • Liaise with Ecovert (Facilities Management partner) on FM and procurement issues.
  • Management of Bouygues M & E site team consisting of Design/Supervising Engineers.
  • Conduct consultant/subcontractor reviews.
  • Authorises Issue of MCI’s to subcontractors
  • To comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
  • To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy Statement, Manual and Safe Systems of Work.
  • To support and practice the Company's Quality Policy and Mission Statement
  • To follow the Company's Equalities Policies in relation to other staff, customers and members of the Group, at a level appropriate to the post.
  • To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the department.
