Job: Senior Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, Hays Building Services

Salary: £45,000 + Pension + Healthcare + Car Allowance + 25 Days Annual Leave

This client is a well-established and reputable building services consultancy with offices throughout the UK. It has built and maintained a reputation for designing high quality, cost effective buildings.

Its Cambridge office boasts an experienced team of engineers who are able to offer an environment that promises stability, as it has secured long-term contracts.

Types of projects include new build and refurbishment within a variety of sectors, including healthcare, industrial, commercial, education and local authority.

As part of this role, on a daily basis you will be responsible for the design of electrical service, which includes feasibility studies and conceptual and detailed design. Taking all projects from inception through to completion, additional duties include management of the budgetary aspects of the projects.

You will be responsible for client and design management and will manage and mentor the more junior members of the team.

Applications are encouraged from individuals able to demonstrate a proven track record within either a building services consultancy or contractor environment. You will have relevant qualifications such as a Degree/ONC/HNC in Building Services or Electrical Engineering, although experience is more essential.
