Digby Morris’ client is a leading international consultancy working on the real estate, infrastructure and construction sectors. The Role
We have a number of requirements for Quantity Surveyors based in our client’s offices in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE. These are predominantly client-facing roles so the candidates require excellent interpersonal skills as well as the skill to lead a high performance team delivering Cost Management services to clients. For this role the ideal candidate will have demonstrable management experience with a track record of developing people and will look forward to the challenge of developing a new property team within our client’s business. They will have the confidence and ability to deal with clients and internal managers at a senior level as well as the presence to generate early respect.
The company has small highly focussed teams of between 8 – 10 staff in client facing teams. Currently opportunities exist in the following teams.

Responsibilities
- Building up and leading a team working with existing key clients, maintaining and strengthening the client relationships, using opportunities to cross-sell and manage a team delivering a wide range of services
- Managing the delivery of work won, both through hands-on involvement where appropriate and through management of staff within the team
- Coaching and mentoring team members, ensuring that staff and new hires are developed to support development of the business
- Developing our business: Networking and developing client relationships and alliances
- Supporting implementation of strategic initiatives from EC Harris Sector Management Internal commercial management within business unit including resource planning and fee agreements
- Strengthen our service delivery capability and championing innovative developments to add value to clients
Skills / Experience Required
Experience should ideally include working within a professional practice or consultancy environment and the candidate will be MRICS/FRICS qualified. In order for the person to be successful in this role they will need to possess the following personal attributes:
