Salary: To £59,000 + Car allowance + Contributory pension + Healthcare + Senior management bonus scheme
Lagan Construction is a highly reputable international civil engineering contractor. It has recently opened an office in Scotland and is looking to recruit a commercial manager to oversee the entire commercial function. Lagan works predominantly in infrastructure, airports, marine, renewable energy and the water sectors and is projecting steady growth and turnover over the next three to five years. Current projects include flood prevention schemes, airports and water/wastewater projects.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are working at commercial manager level (or an experienced senior QS looking for the next step up). You will be responsible for managing the commercial resource within the Scottish region and you will report to the regional commercial manager. Good management skills are essential as you will supervise and build upon the existing commercial team. This role affords a great deal of autonomy and as such, experience of working within, and an excellent knowledge of the civil engineering market is preferred.
