Coast which will house a community of more than 120,000 people and is designed to spearhead the vision of Abu Dhabi as one of the world’s greatest waterfront cities. This mixed use development occupies a 600 hectare site which has been expanded through land reclamation and has an overall total development value of more than $17 billion. It comprises an LRT with 14 stations and 2 terminals, several major elevated interchanges, a 6 lane boulevard, 40 bridges, 9 hotels, 5 schools and a significant number of breathtaking signature buildings.
Laing O’Rourke has formed a strategic alliance with ALDAR Properties, the leading Abu Dhabi real estate developer, to both project manage and deliver the construction of this stunning development. The project will extend over the next 10 years and at peak the workforce will exceed 65,000. The Company is now seeking to strengthen the procurement team already established in the UAE with a number of key appointments:
Category Managers
With responsibility for particular categories of spend, you will have recent experience of supply chain management either in a procurement capacity or as a technical specialist but, either way, you will be able to hit the ground running.
With all the positions a high level of self motivation is essential. All positions command fully comprehensive tax free expatriate packages but of particular importance to the successful candidates will be the opportunity to be involved on one of the world’s most prestigious development projects.
